Terri Hanauer is an accomplished photographer, specializing in natural
light photography. She has shot some of Hollywood's most prominent
actors and actresses, and her work has appeared in advertisements,
magazines and on websites.
Recently, she shifted her focus to directing.
In 2002 she directed a short film entitled "A Day in
the Life," which was shown at film festivals; in 2003,
she was accepted into the prestigious and highly competitive
AFI's Directing
Workshop for Women, out of which a film she adapted and
directed, "Recycling
Flo". It was chosen by AFI
to represent it at the Cannes Film Festival '04 - International
Short Film Corner, and the Los Angeles Crosstown Film Festival.
Along with being 'official selection' at many festivals, "Recycling
Flo" has won two BEST SHORT/JURY PRIZES at the Fort Lauderdale
International Film Festival and the Farmington Comedy Film
Festival. |
